What's in store for the end of February.

Today we finished working on the half faces. We'll spend the rest of the week working on the word art (V's, 15 creative words, Scholastic magazine, and name pattern). Next week we'll work on perspective.

The word art, if not completed in class this week, is due by March 1st.

Please bring in a LARGE image of a barn this week. It will be used for the study of perspective next week.

Welcome to Semester 2!

This semester we will start out with Mrs. Carson discussing gesture drawing on Day 1. After that I will have you draw faces using a face photocopied from a magazine. We will discuss proportions and shading. I cut the magazine faces in half, you will complete the other half. The face rubric is included on the website under KEY DOCUMENTS.

We will move on to perspective after the unit on the human figure.
